SPOILERS AHEAD!::Walking Dead SPOILERS:: If you read The Walking Dead comic series, you know the hooded female that saved Andrea in last nights season 2 finale is Michonne. Michonne is a strong character from the comic. She drags two armless zombies by chains on each arm, her boyfriend and his best friend, and that alone makes her appear beyond badass. Michonne is an original sword wielding character that came into the comic series by walking down the road to the prison, right where they left off in the season 2 finale. They’ve strayed and stayed with the comic writing and that, plus zombies, keeps me attached every single week wanting more. My personal favorite moment? The helicopter that was flying to the prison, just like the comic. I jumped out of my seat. Anyone else think that these specific zombies are smarter than your average walking dead? They heard, then saw this helicopter. It went out of their view and eventually had to be shut down. They still knew exactly where it was heading and kept up their pace until they heard the gunshot that was also heard around the world. The best, most secure place to keep zombies out, a prison.
The gunshot. Shane, Shane, Shane. What were you thinking? You died because of a woman, by the hand of her husband aka your best friend. Then, you died again by the hand of a child that this very woman and her husband had. Men, there’s a lesson here. The other big score in this finale was the absolute verification that everyone has the zombie in them, dead or alive, as predicted very early on by @SeanGirvan, (you were right, again). I immediately flashed to the zombie that was hanging in the forest by his camp in a previous episode. This major head mess hangs himself, get his legs chewed off by zombies and turns into what he was fighting to escape. But it didn’t matter, he was going to turn regardless. That would’ve been a crap way to escape the misery of your life and come back. Rick, thank you for stepping up like a nazi in the last scene. I no longer want you to die with Lori.
