This Is Still A Fact

This is a excerpt from a blog I wrote a really long time ago. It is so cute! It still holds true and I can actually add even more geeky gaming references to it now.

In my perfect world, I would live in a medieval fair in space. I would be consistently bombarded with big red and green mushrooms popping out of bushes that give me 1up or make me larger than life to beat down my enemies. I would have an array of weaponry with multiple ammo clips. Better yet, I would have never-ending ammo (or a code to get it). I would have a kick ass pouch full of potions and mana. I would drive a $500,000 sports car, run people over daily and never get into trouble. Lastly, I would carry Links sword and reside on my living ship, Moya.

Final Picks for San Diego Comic Con Cosplay

4/16/2011

With the help of someone close to me, I was able to complete my list of Cosplay for San Diego Comic Con last night.

They are as follows: (see exact photos below for ordered products)

1) Padme Amidala Deluxe

2) Adult Princess Leia White Dress

3) Alice from Resident Evil: Extinction

4) Final Fantasy (surprise, under construction)

Both of the Star Wars costumes were ordered from http://www.buystarwarscostumes.com/

The Alice costume is from: http://www.mooncostumes.com/

As soon as I get them in, I will post photos and give a review. They were fairly cheap, leaving me more funding for the missing accessories and upgrading the cheap ones they come with. Cheap dress, great accessories!

As far as the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention is concerned, I think I will have a Uhura dress for a one time adventure. The remaining days I will be sporting Vegas style with a touch of Trek.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Escalation Pack Leak is True

I just found out today that the leak we all heard about last week from GAME site is true. Of course, the flyer announcing this has since been removed. Activision and Microsoft will be dropping the $15.00 expansion pack May 3 for 360, PS3 and PC. This is the best kind of accidental leak ever. Below is the flyer that "accidentally" popped up on the site.

From here it looks like the new maps are as follows: Zoo, Hotel, Convoy, Stockpile, Co-op Zombie Mode.

Thank you GAME. I knew I loved Australians for some reason.

I have been playing SOCOM over numerous years utilizing several gaming consoles, including PSP. I was thrilled to hear about the newest edition, SOCOM 4 Navy SEALs, for one reason, Playstation Move sharp shooter controller. Instead of sitting with your DualShock 3, you will be immersed into a land with a handheld gun. Movement, real time point and shoot FPS (first person shooter) are the name of the game now.

The newest SOCOM is offering a packaged deal with the Playstation Move included with many other gaming goodies. You can pick yours up on April 19 for $149.99 (MSRP). Beyond the sticker shock, you will actually save money in the long run by purchasing this deal now. If you purchase individually, your pockets will be empty for a long time. The wave of the future is leading towards Playstation Move whether you want to jump on board or not.
