I used to keep a HUGE bag in my trunk full of everything I would need to stay anywhere, at anytime, including tent, folding chairs, cot, clothing, soaps and anything anyone would need to live homeless and electrical free for 3-4 weeks, water and MREs included. I told you it was a huge bag! So what happened this time? Sometime after I helped Search and Rescue with the Joplin tornado (2011) I removed it to wash everything and never put it back together. This is priority when I get home, right after a shower and a good dose of Star Trek!
Bang. Head. On. Giant. Wall.
Anyway, I will have a lot of photos, stories and video to share, including 2 very important messages: don't wait until disaster strikes to volunteer and be prepared with essentials at all times for wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards and everything else Mother Nature throws at us. I will give you a general list to keep in a backpack. You can keep it in your car or within close reach at all times.
I would have posted more this time as I usually do but I switched to Sprint from AT&T and I was running on 2 bars of very shabby and clustered 3G.
I will update soon, my friends! And to everyone on Twitter posting about Comic Cons, THANK YOU. It is a ray of light for my inner and very outer geek.
